Founded in September 2003 by Mr Emmanuel Ogbebor in partnership with Ik. Ekomwerenren, the law firm has extensive experience in handling and establishing foreign companies in Nigeria while providing counsel, legal advice and assistance and litigation representation in all Courts in Nigeria. We assist clients such as private companies, public entities and individuals with all their legal needs in Nigeria.
Revelation Law Partners is the first law firm registered by the Securities and Exchange Commission as a CONSULTANT (LEGAL) in Edo and Delta States of Nigeria. It represents also local and foreign clients which include international institutions, multinational corporations or their subsidiaries, investment funds, credit brokers and commercial companies. We are very highly rated in Banking Law and so is retained by major banks in Nigeria as External Solicitors. Born on March 3, 1968, in Benin City. He attended the University of Benin where he bagged a B. A (Hons) degree in Linguistics in 1989 and also bagged an LL.B (Hons). He was called to The Bar in 2000. He was a former senior current affairs officer with Edo Broadcasting Service, Benin. He is registered as a Capital Market solicitor by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)
An amiable, bright, soft-spoken counsel and a dependable ally, Mr Ekonwerenren co-set up Revelation Partners with our Principal Partner in 2003.
is an attorney-at-law registered with the Supreme Court of Nigeria and a member of the Nigerian Bar Association. He holds a Degree in law from the Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Port Harcourt, Nigeria. Prior to reading law, Mr Ogbebor had read Banking and Finance and was for eight (8) years a staff of one of Nigeria’s foremost banks, Union Bank of Nigeria Plc. Mr Ogbebor attended many courses at Wits University, South Africa, Lagos Business School, Nigeria and London Business School, UK.
Mr Ogbebor is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitration (United Kingdom).
He is well knowledgeable in Receivership and has handled some high profile receivership jobs in his country. He is the Publisher and Editor in Chief of The Nigerian Independent Law Reports.
He is an Arbitrator of note whose major is in financial related matters, an excellent business and financial law practitioner who has developed a proven and recognized expertise in banking, finance, mergers and acquisitions, restructuring and other related projects.
A well-travelled man; he has an interest in manufacturing and agriculture.
